If you are a member and wish to volunteer to help with various projects (typically near
London) you should contact the Projects Coordinator (see inside front cover of any Cockney
Ancestor)
If you would like to work on an on-line
project consider the following and mail
chairman
- prepare a list of key dates of historical events for the
East of London Area or locales within it,
- prepare a list or a description of various occupations for
the East of London area,
- prepare a list of major employers in the East of London
area in the 16th, 17th, 18th, or 19th centuries,
- prepare a list of hospitals within the East of London area
in the 18th or 19th centuries,
- prepare a list of novels taking place in the East of
London,
- if you are a photographer and can create digitial pictures,
consider providing pictures of East of London cemeteries, taverns, or other interesting
categories, etc.
Or perhaps you have special knowledge about a part of the
East of London geography; then you might want to volunteer for our
Help
Exchange.
